Join Culver City Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) for its first Teen Mental Health Week from Monday, May 12 – Friday, May 16, 2025 from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM at the Culver City Teen Center. This week-long event was created to offer teens an opportunity to socialize within their community and to provide supportive information to use as they navigate their daily lives.
Throughout this event, Teen participants ages 12 – 17 are welcome to learn from various local organizations and PRCS staff about the importance of prioritizing one’s mental health through educational sessions for life-long learning, community conversations, and creative activities. Our sessions will cover information focused on emotional awareness, managing stress, utilizing positive outlets for self-expression and safety.
Our community partners include the Culver City Fire Department and Police Department, the Culver City Mobile Crisis Team, the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH), Cedars Sinai’s Share and Care Organization and the Institute for Public Strategies. These organizations will be leading the conversation in partnership with PRCS and providing resources for the community.
Snacks will be provided by PRCS throughout our event and lunch will be provided by LACDMH on Wednesday, May 14. If interested in attending, please register online and note your lunch preference for Wednesday, May 14. This event is free to teens in the community and Teen Center membership is not required to participate. Register for our Teen Mental Health Week online today!
