On Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM, in the City Council Chambers, the City Clerk’s Office continued the official tabulation of all Vote by Mail (VBM) election ballots for Measure CL. The public observed both in person and virtually on a livestream.
Final voting results on Measure CL, which would impose a general sales tax at the rate of 1/4-cent per dollar, have been released. A majority of Culver City voters are in favor of the ballot measure.
Ballots, which had been received by mail or retrieved from the drop boxes and signature verified post-election day, were tabulated. The updated number of ballots tabulated is now 6,447, with the final results as follows:
YES: 4,327 votes (67.1%)
NO: 2,120 votes (32.9%)
TOTAL: 6,447 votes
The election will be certified at the City Council Meeting on Monday, September 8, 2025.
