As a part of the Better Overland Project, City staff are hosting additional community events to gather feedback on the project’s design, which includes new protected bike lanes, traffic calming, and new & improved sidewalks and crosswalks.
Join us at an upcoming event to learn more and provide your feedback on design options to upgrade the existing conventional bike lanes on Overland Avenue between Culver Boulevard and Ballona Creek to protected bike lanes. The event begins at 6, and includeds an open house and a walking tour.
Staff will be presenting side-by-side comparisons of the design of Overland today and what it could look like in the future to promote slower speeds, safer bike lanes, and better connections for people walking. After reviewing the side-by-side comparisons, City staff will also host a Walking Tour of Overland from Culver Boulevard to the Ballona Creek to provide the public with an additional way to learn about what’s in store and provide feedback.
Open House & Walking Tour at the Senior Center, from the Culver City Senior Center, 4095 Overland Avenue, Culver City, 90232 on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
From 6 to 8:15 PM, join us for a Community Open House at the Senior Center. At 7 PM, City staff will host a 45-minute Walking Tour starting at the Senior Center to Ballona Creek. Those not wanting to join the Walking Tour are welcome to stay at the Senior Center, where additional staff will be present.
