The community has lost a beloved Culver City High School staff member. Spanish teacher Ms. Betty Dávila passed away over the weekend. Our thoughts are with her loved ones at this time, especially her two children, Luke and Stella.
Ms. Dávila was an outstanding teacher with more than 18 years of experience who cared very deeply about the success and well-being of each and every one of her students. She had been with us since 2018, and had a lasting impact on our students, co-workers and the entire community.
We will all miss her very much, and will spend many difficult moments grieving her loss.
