CCFD Offers Disaster Preparedness – Culver City Crossroads



The Culver City Fire Department invites community members to attend a free Disaster Preparedness Presentation focused on how community members can stay safe, informed, and resilient during emergencies.

Join members of the Fire Department as they provide practical guidance on preparing for disasters such as wildfires, earthquakes, and power outages. Whether you’re new to emergency preparedness or looking to refresh your knowledge, this event is for you!

Wednesday, July 2, 2025
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
 Culver City Senior Center (4095 Overland Ave.)

The presentation will include City emergency operations and how the City responds during major incidents,
how to create a family emergency plan and build a disaster supply kit, communication systems used during emergencies, opportunities to get involved through CERT and CCARES volunteer programs

Presenters  will include Ken Powell, Fire Chief, Christine Parra, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Roger Braum, Deputy Fire Chief , Chris Miller, Fire Marshal

RSVPs are not required, but if you plan to attend, we encourage you to let us know so we can prepare accordingly.
