City Launches New Outreach Portal – Culver City Crossroads



The City of Culver City has launched a new Homeless Outreach Request page, making it easier than ever for community members to help individuals experiencing homelessness receive the support they need.

The online portal is designed to empower residents, businesses, and visitors to assist in the City’s efforts to provide compassionate, timely outreach and services. Through the new system, members of the public can report observations of individuals who may be in need, which will then be directed to Culver City’s Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) and Leading Outreach with Valued Engagement (LOVE) team.

“This new portal represents an important step forward in how we care for our unhoused neighbors,” said Mayor Dan O’Brien. “By inviting the community to take part in the outreach process, we’re ensuring that our teams can act faster and more effectively to connect people with the services and support they deserve.”

The Homeless Outreach Request Portal allows users to: Submit detailed, location-based reports online, Choose to remain anonymous or include contact information for follow-up, receive updates and confirmation of actions taken, and help to connect individuals with housing, healthcare, mental health services, and more

Requests are typically reviewed and dispatched within 24–48 hours, with priority given based on urgency and resource availability. The service is free of charge and is not meant to replace emergency services. If a situation appears life-threatening or urgent, the public is encouraged to call 911.
