The meeting of the Culver City Planning Commission on August 27, 2025 will include two Public Hearings on proposed developments at opposite ends of the city; 100 Corporate Points in Fox Hills, and 10950 Washington Blvd., across from La Ballona Elementary School. Both were previous office buildings, now being considered to be repurposed to include housing.
The Washington Boulevard development will offer 508 housing units, and 14,087 square feet of commercial space.
The developer, Slauson Investors LLC, is looking for an exemption from CEQA – the California Environmental Quality Act – and also hopes to win approval for extended construction hours.
The five to seven-story mixed-use project at 100 Corporate Pointe will include 351 residential units, including 30 low-income units, and 6,825 square feet of ground floor commercial space.
The Corporate Point address is one of several developments that residents in Fox Hills are calling overdevelopment. The Fox Hills Neighborhood Association sent out a flyer, saying “If you are tired of city leaders approving extreme density for our neighborhood – now the densest in Culver City- while sparing other residential areas – it’s time to outfox them.” Calling for residents to speak to the Planning meeting tonight, the flyer seeks people to “join us in opposing high rise overload.”
Washington Boulevard is on the agenda as Public Hearing number one, and Corporate Pointe as Public Hearing number two.
Both developments are part of the proposed housing to be built to satisfy the state requirement of 3, 341 new housing units that must be built in Culver City by 2029.
The meeting will take place at City Hall, in the Mike Balkman Council Chambers, 9770 Culver Boulevard on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 7 PM.
