The third annual Skateside Fest is a free event that offers great fun for everyone! From the Family Fun Zone, packed with family activities, to exhilarating skate contests for the more adventurous, there is something for all ages and interests. It will be a day full of fun- Events include
- Skate Park Zone – beginner skateboarding lesson at 10:00 AM (ages 5 through adults)
- Roller Skate Zone – beginner roller skating lesson at 11:00 AM (ages 5 through adults)
- Roller Skate Dance Jam – open community skate with music and movement
- Build Your New Skateboard Workshop – hands-on experience assembling your own board
- Face Painting – available throughout the day in the Family Fun Zone
- Coaches available all day for skate support and encouragement
- Rental equipment available – skates, pads, and helmets included for lessons
- Pro Skater Appearance – meet Louie Lopez, a Los Angeles native and Converse Cons team rider
- Family Fun Zone – bounce houses, carnival games, and tons of FREE arts & crafts
- Vendor Marketplace – explore a vibrant mix of amazing local vendors, community businesses, and organizations offering food, gear, merch, and more. Dozens of top brands will be giving away free swag, prizes, and exclusive items throughout the day!
- Exclusive Story Time – sign up at the GROMLIN UNIVERSE booth for a magical kids’ reading experience
- Live DJs at each zone + special live music appearances
- FREE RSVP = FREE raffle ticket
- Culver City Police Department (CCPD) will be on-site to connect with families and support the fun!
